You could smell the scent of competition in the morning air at
SK Parang Putting on 2nd of October. Schools gathered from all over the state, district champions, to give it their best shot. Mind you, SK Bukit Abal's team had no time to practice due to yesterday's victory. Other teams had weeks to practice, but this did not discourage the troupe from SKBA. 9 schools competed in the Action Song Competition for Year 3 students. Teacher Basirah was encouraging and coaching her pupils for the upcoming high stakes performance. Teacher Salma was in full form, like a soccer mom; bringing cups, drinks and snacks. She did the same routine for all the practices too.
The competition was raging with talent. Each school delivered a high quality performance. However, when the dust settled: SK Tanah Merah (a TELL2 School too) got first place, SK Zainab 2 got second place and SK Bukit Abal got a commendable third place. You can see Toby Walrod, the State manager of Kelantan posing with SK Tanah Merah. Splendid work from all the teachers, administration and students of SK Bukit Abal for a stellar performance. A special round of applause for Teacher Basirah, Teacher Salmah, Teacher Azizah, Teacher Maznah and Teacher Wan Azurainee.
